Patna. NIA sp Navin Tyagi was a part of the administration wing in the NIA for two years after joining the agency in 2019 from BSF where he was an ASP but was directly recruited as SP in NIA.
Despite having no legal traning or training related to investigation he has been asked to investigate the sensitive Darbhanga blast case with international ramifications. He was shifted to the investigation wing of the NIA in June this year and was immediately made the Investigating Officer of this high profile case.
Offical sources said that it was surprising that such a sensitive matter was handed over by the NIA to an officer who has literally zero hours of experience in investigation.
