Sushil Modi wants CBI to probe Sushant death

PATNA: Bihar deputy chief minister,Sushil Kumar Modi today demanded CBI take over the investigation of mysterious death of film star Sushant Singh Rajput.In a tweet today,he said”Mumbai police is putting obstructions in way of fair investigation by Bihar police.Bihar police is doing its best but Mumbai police is not co_operating.BJP feels the CBI should take over this case. Sushil Modi had met the father of Sushant at his Rajiv Nagar residence and expressed his condolences.Sushant;s cousin is an MLA of BJP.
The state BJP president,Sanjay Jaiswal,in a press release today demanded the Bihar police to take over the investigation from Mumbai police.Jaiswal said there is discontent among the people over poor investigation by Mumbai police which was not interested in taking the probe to logical ends.Only white wash is being done,he alleged and regretted Mumbai police was not co-operating with the Bihar in investigation.
In the last three days of its stay,Bihar police team could unearth many facts in the case,but Mumbai police could not locate the mobile sets and laptops of Sushant. Bihar chief minister,Nitish Kumar is not hostile to recommending a CBI probe,according to the family sources of the deceased film star.He has reportedly conveyed this to the BJP MP,Subramaniam Swamy too.
Sushant’s father in his FIR lodged with Rajiv Nagar police station here had alleged swindling of Rs 15 crores by Sushant’s co-star Rhea Chakarvarty and her family.Based on the FIR,ED has started probe into allegations of money laundering too.
Opposition leaders in Bihar have already asked for CBI probe into the death of Sushant.The Bahujan Samaj Party chief,Mayawati too called for CBI investigation.
